You’ll find Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in New Zealand’s lifestyle capital, Tauranga. Offering a comprehensive range of short courses, certificates, diplomas, degrees and pathways, our programmes are taught on two campuses, in Tauranga’s CBD and in leafy surroundings on nearby Windermere.

We have a reputation for providing industry-focused programmes specialising in areas such as biosecurity, conveyancing, fashion, logistics and commercial road transport, marine and aquaculture and sport and wellness. Bay of Plenty Polytechnic works closely with local and national industries to provide the right training and skills needed in their workforces, which means graduates have excellent employment prospects both here and overseas.

Unprecedented in New Zealand, Bay of Plenty Polytechnic and the University of Waikato have formed a unique relationship, joining forces in the Bay of Plenty to offer students a greater range of diploma to degree pathway opportunities. Our collaborative on-campus relationship with the Titanium Industry Development Association (TiDA) is also a first in New Zealand.
